I travel quite often for business and try to mix in some pleasure as well. These next images are
things that I have observed, drawn, and painted over the past several years. Some are mundane,
simple objects, while others are inspired by emotional responses I have had while seeing things
that made me want to produce some sort of image.
I love using a sketchbook, because it is a "freeing" experience. There is no pressure to do something
a certain way, or to make it look "correct", or to please any clients. Sketchbook images really belong
to the artist. Watercolor is a good way to help myself let go and be aware of the emerging image.
